Speciality Sales Engineer (Rental)

 

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the Oil & Gas Market. Key account management / sales / marketing. Proven experience in a sales environment with direct customer contact, customer service and preferably in compressors and generators in most markets.
  • Knowledge of customer base of who would use our services
  • Knowledge of the Oil & Gas Market in Angola in Upstream, Midstream & Downstream.
  • Knowledge of players in the market
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Proficiency in Portuguese & English languages (speak, read, write)

 

Additional information

  • Able to travel to other areas within Angola
  • Able to do standby should there be a need
  • Able to travel internationally for training when required
  • Able to perform other duties as required and when asked to do so when necessary
  • Able to assist with Hire Desk duties – back to back

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the Oil & Gas Customer base in Upstream, Midstream & Downstream in the country as well as Industry, Mining, Retail & other Segments by applying Pre-call, time and territory planning and management. Manage own appointments and sales cycle process.
  • Key account management.
  • Gather information for all future and current business.
  • Follow up on all enquiries received by customers as well as sales leads and current / new projects.
  • Follow up from enquiry right through to quoting, order, billing and receivables. Undertake ad-hoc projects / tenders. Ensure that sales calls are effective according to the criteria and achieving sales targets set.
  • Timely recording of sales calls, enquiries, lost hires and reports of sales performance analysis on the system provided.
  • Consistently use and apply product knowledge skills and revise regularly to ensure 100% products knowledge on all products and services, presenting solutions to Customer's problems.
  • Market Products appropriately and ensure full understanding of products available in the Specialty Rental Group to ensure any potential markets and products are approached. Open new accounts, sell for profit.
  • Always be aware of competitors pricing and activity. Flexibility to participate in sales drives. Assist with company / depot promotions and events. Build Customer relationships, identify customer personality profile, adapt and behave accordingly. Identify and implement power base selling when and where appropriate. Carry marketing material.
  • Manage costs of petrol and maintenance on Company Vehicle. Manage cost of cell phone.
  • Observe and act in a manner that represents the company ISO standards and company policies including Health and Safety. Always represent the company image in a professional and efficient manner.
