The future Head of Advisory will be based in Luanda and report to the Head of Investment Banking (IB), and will be responsible for providing advisory to investment banking clients and emitting high-quality advisory reports, expert advice to clients in accordance with the engagement letters agreed and signed with banks’ clients. The ideal candidate is a multi-task, self-disciplined hands-on person, who is able to manage teams. Our client is looking for a person who has strong analytical thinking, solid execution capabilities and excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Duties and responsibilities
➢ Acquisition and execution of advisory mandates in accordance with engagement letters agreed with clients.
➢ Negotiating and closing advisory mandates
➢ Preparing high quality advisory reports to clients that provide the required advice as agreed
➢ Provide advice, expertise and specialist skills to clients in the fields of value creation, growth maximization, business development, performance improvement, strategy, structure, management, to implement solutions and operations with recommendations
➢ Prepare and issue advisory reports to clients as agreed
Skills and specifications
➢ Qualified experience in a reputable international management consulting firm
➢ Good knowledge of Finance and excellent negotiation and selling capabilities
➢ Ability to operate across a wide variety of services and outward focused
➢ Excellent academic background, preferably with a Master Degree
➢ Professional user of the MS Office package (especially in Excel)
➢ Excellent command of English and Portuguese or Spanish (speaking, reading and writing), any additional language skills would be a welcome asset
