ITIL Technical Support Lead

LOCATION: Full time remote work, based anywhere with authority to work in EU.

Job Reference: BBBH 11318

As Technical Services Lead you will be working with global open-source customers, initially in the Japanese Market, in a complex environment using ITIL Framework.

You will engage & lead a complex set of priorities and partner requirements, with excellent prioritization and relationship building skills.

In this role you will develop a detailed understanding of End user use of Blockchain/Cryptocurrencies.

Our client is a globally distributed Cryptocurrency Software Research & Development company.

What will you be doing?

  • Severity 1 Incident Management - you will be the initial point of contact, initial information gathering and assessment of criticality, routing to relevant parties, resolution & communications management etc.
  • Customer Maintain relationship with customers, continuously improving service, focusing on ownership and processes. Note: Understanding/Experience of Japanese commercial culture is important as this is a key market for our client.

Additional Information:

Job Complexity -

  • Working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
  • The ITIL framework is currently being implemented so this represents an opportunity for you to contribute to its implementation and ensuring ITIL best practices are applied.
  • Prepare SLA/KPI service reports relating to service requests, incidents and problem management.

What experience do you need to get this job?

  • Technical Customer Success/Onboarding experience.
  • Appreciation/understanding of Blockchain/Cryptocurrencies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiar working with global open-source customers in complex environments using ITIL Framework.
  • ITIL - Certification and implementation experience.
  • Experience working with Japanese market is advantage.
