This established and reputable niche business provides design, installation and maintenance services to the retail sector. Poised for significant growth, they wish to support the existing sales team through the recruitment of a senior team member to take responsibility for a number of key tasks.
Working in close conjunction with the MD and Sales Director, the Business Development Consultant will be tasked with the day to day management of a highly motivated sales and customer response team; with developing additional sales activity through the maintenance teams, strategic partners and other channels; and with developing systems and procedures aimed at improving the sales team's ability to progress and close prospective deals.
Candidates need to be proven sales professionals with good management skills, a track record in developing people, teams and third party sales and the ability to instil excellent management disciplines in areas such as tendering, progress chasing and closing. Experience of dealing with large retailers would be advantageous.
This role would ideally suit candidates looking to work 2 or 3 days per week and an attractive incentive plan is available to reward results.
