We are looking for one "Business Objects (BO)" developer to start ASAP a 3 months contract (initial, extensions likely) for an internat.Org'-client in Rome. Our client is a world-famous international organisation and a great reference in any CV! English speaking environment. Tableau is desired, but not mandatory


1. Collect, sort and disseminate correspondence, reports and other material to meet the required demands of supervisors and clients to time standards.

2. Provide a set of standard business support activities, where required, to contribute to the effective functioning of business operations.

3. Support the maintenance of office files, documents, and records in accordance with established systems and processes so that information is current and readily available.

4. Undertake standard data entry tasks in accordance with defined systems, to ensure information is organised and readily available for the PGG teams.

5. Work with IT BO/BW Team on the implementation/maintenance of Grant Management Universes (BW and Hana).

6. Develop the new Country Strategic Plan/Interim Country Strategic Plan (CSP/ICSP) reports.

7. Develop and collaborate with other units to develop new reports (eg RMBB - Advance Reports and RMFC).

8. Work with the Salesforce team to integrate the new corporate tool with BO and Tableau for all reporting activities.

9. Launch/Revamp of the Factory in Tableau.

10. Based on Audit Recommendations, implement the required reports and related reporting process cycles.

11. Develop new OCHA FTS report for CSP/ICSP structure.

12. Develop the Quality Control Check for CSP/ICSP project structure (as per audit recommendation).

13. Identify gaps in PGG's current reporting models.

14. Train people on the use of the reports (inside and outside the PGG).


Within delegated authority, develop the new reports; integrate the new corporate tool with BO and Tableau for all reporting activities; launch/Revamp of the Factory in Tableau; develop new report structure; develop the Quality Control Check for new project structure; and identify gaps in current reporting models and suggest improvements


  • Education: Completion of secondary school education.
  • Experience: Three or more years of relevant experiences.
  • Ability to use Business Objects and Tableau;
  • Ability to use standard office equipment such as photocopiers and scanners.
  • Knowledge of standardised business support work routines and methods.
  • Knowledge of standard office software packages, eg Microsoft Word.
  • Uses tact and courtesy to give and receive information with a variety of individuals.
  • Good attention to detail in order to identify data discrepancies.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and follow clear instructions.
  • Languages: Fluency (level C) in English language.
