Dallas-based Oracle Gold Partner and Informatica Channel Partner, is currently seeking experienced Oracle Datawarehouse Architects for open positions within our Data Management & Integration Practice. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated expertise in the design and implementation of Operational Data Stores, Enterprise Data Warehouses and Data Marts in Oracle technology environments, along with the ability to work either independently or within a team environment, and possess a combination of technical depth, excellent written/verbal communication skills and client management skills.
B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent degree; or equivalent industry experience.
Minimum 6 years broad-based, hands-on information technology experience required.
3+ years experience with Operational Data Stores, Enterprise Data Warehouses and Data Marts required.
3+ years Strong technical skills across all data warehousing technologies (eg ETL, ODS, DBMS, BI) required.
Expert conceptual, logical and physical Datamodelling skills (normalized, de-normalized and multidimensional) required.
In depth knowledge of the Kimball Lifecycle methodology required.
Experience with Oracle 10g/11g required.
Experience with Informatica PowerCenter or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) a plus.
Implementation experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) a plus.
OBI Analytics packages implementation a plus.
Strong business and communications skills.
presently authorized to work Full time in the United States.
Some travel required.
Roles/Responsibilities:Employment Type: Permanent
Define overall Datawarehouse architectures and related methodologies (eg ETL processes, ODS, EDW, Data Marts, aggregation, etc.) for successful delivery on client data warehousing project engagements.
Define technical requirements, technical and data architectures for client data warehouses. Recommend supplemental Datawarehouse strategies and technologies if needed.
Direct the analysis and discovery processes on projects and translate user requirements into technical architecture vision and implementation plans.
Define policies, procedures and governance for Datawarehouse implementations that are fully aligned with the overall BI strategy within the client's environment.
Mentor, develop and lead junior staff within the Data Management & Integration Practice.
