Infineon Technologies Shared Service Center (IFSSC) was established originally as a branch office of Infineon Technologies AG (IFAG) in Porto, in 2003, with a Finance & Accounting services scope. Over the years, several functions were incorporated beyond the original accounting tasks.

The initial concept of a European Accounting Shared Service Center evolved into a Multifunctional Shared Service Center, covering the worldwide subsidiaries of Infineon group, with higher focus on the European and North American entities. The majority of the new incorporated activities are non-accounting related. Currently more than 300 young, dynamic and qualified employees provide services to several areas, such as Finance, Purchasing, Human Resources, Information Technologies, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Business Continuity, among others, on the basis of Service Level Agreements. The team is composed by young professionals who work in an international environment, with English as the official language.

Job description

As a Business Analyst at Infineon, you will take part on the Roles & Authorizations governance for several SAP Systems and projects, be a team member of a Center of Competence acting with a central role to support our Global Information Owners (GIO), business process experts, on the preparation of functional design documents, troubleshooting and related documentation to protect the integrity of our Roles & Authorizations concept.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the gatekeeper for the Business Roles & Authorizations concept and design;
  • Being the global owner of roles documentation and governance;
  • Managing, monitoring and following-up on Roles & Authorizations incidents;
  • Handling creation and change requests of Roles & Authorizations for all areas and GIOs;
  • Being the first point of contact to support the GIOs with technical assessments of roles and their assignments and trainings;
  • Being the single point of contact (SPOC) for IT operational teams;
  • Supporting different projects, such as OneSAP.


Your Profile

You have strong technical SAP skills and are able to present solutions comprehensively and effectively. You are a team player who is able to quickly establish a successful cooperation within your team and with all levels of a multinational organization. 

You are best equipped for this role if you have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Controlling, Accounting, Procurement or similar fields;
  • Good understanding and experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA – experience in SAP customizing will be a plus;
  • Experience in Shared Services and Project Management will be an advantage;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Fluency in English (mandatory);
  • Availability to travel.
