Descrição da Função

Profile: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field; - Proven experience as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or in a similar role; - Solid understanding of LLMs (e.g. GPT), machine learning and deep learning techniques, algorithms, and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, LangChain); - Proficiency in Python and Java, with experience in data manipulation, analysis, and visualisation tools (NumPy, pandas, Matplotlib); - Experience with Big Data processing and distributed computing (e.g. Hadoop, Spark) is an advantage; - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI services; - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions; - Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across teams; - High attention to detail, self-driven, and proactive with a strong interest in emerging technologies and trends; - Ability to provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior AI Engineers; - Fluency in English. Responsibilities: - Work with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and define AI-driven solutions; - Design and develop proof-of-concepts (PoCs) using machine learning and deep learning techniques; - Evaluate PoCs in terms of accuracy, scalability, and efficiency; - Iterate on PoCs based on stakeholder feedback to maximise business value; - Translate successful PoCs into minimum viable products (MVPs), scaling them with engineers and data scientists; - Optimise and fine-tune AI models to meet performance and business requirements; - Conduct testing and validation of AI models in real-world scenarios; - Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems or new applications; - Stay up to date with AI industry trends and best practices, applying them to innovation in PoC and MVP development; - Document methodologies, development processes, and results, creating clear reports and presentations for stakeholders; - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
