We’re currently partnering with an innovative FinTech company based in Lisbon. To help them grow their AI/ML capabilities, we are looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer to join their team on a hybrid basis. Main Tasks: • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions for next-gen financial technologies. • Implement GenAI, agent-based systems, and advanced ML models. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into a customizable platform. • Work on projects involving OCR, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). • Optimize AI models on cloud platforms (AWS preferred – including SageMaker and Bedrock). • Participate in building Agentic frameworks and support data pipelines for AI integration. • Promote MLOps best practices across the engineering team. • Stay ahead of the curve by exploring the latest AI/ML research, tools, and frameworks. Skills: • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering. • Strong experience with GenAI, ML models, prompting techniques, agents. • Proficiency in Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn. • Practical experience with OCR, vector DBs, and RAG frameworks. • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (especially AWS). • Knowledge of Langchain, Langgraph, and Langsmith is a plus. • Previous experience in fintech and working with structured financial products is a bonus. • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
