Job Type: Permanent Job Location: Porto, Portugal Workplace: Remote Salary: Negotiable Responsibilities: * Lead the development of deployment builds in the AIX environment; * Identify opportunities for optimization and implement enhancements to existing systems; * Preserve and enhance the technical legacy of AIX systems through strategic planning and execution; * Monitor and manage capacity planning for infrastructures related to ongoing projects; * Propose scalable solutions to accommodate future growth and demand; * Proactively manage the obsolescence of hardware and software components, ensuring system reliability; * Validate and apply security patches and updates to maintain a secure AIX environment; * Stay abreast of the latest AIX OS versions and implement upgrades as necessary. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field; * Significant experience working with AIX in complex environments; * In-depth knowledge of AIX OS versions 5, 6, or 7; * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues; * Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment; * Good level of French.
