Triangle Talent Portugal is recruiting an Application Security Engineer (M/F/D) for direct integration into a leading client company, based in Porto. We are looking for a technically strong professional with experience in Application Security, DevSecOps and Secure SDLC, who is motivated to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to application security initiatives across modern technology architectures. Responsibilities • Perform vulnerability assessments, secure code reviews and threat modeling activities; • Manage and monitor the vulnerability lifecycle, from identification through to remediation; • Support the implementation of secure development practices; • Integrate and monitor security controls within CI/CD pipelines; • Assess and support the security of APIs, microservices and cloud-based architectures; • Analyse security testing results and support the implementation of remediation measures; • Collaborate closely with Development, DevOps and Security teams; • Support security audits, compliance activities and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements • Proven professional experience in Application Security, DevSecOps or Cybersecurity; • Solid knowledge of application vulnerabilities; • Experience with SAST, DAST and SCA tools; • Knowledge of security practices in AWS and/or Azure environments; • Experience with APIs, microservices and cloud-native architectures; • Familiarity with task and vulnerability tracking tools such as JIRA; • Good knowledge of Secure SDLC and secure development practices; • Fluent Portuguese and English; • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; • High level of autonomy, organisation and attention to detail; • Good communication and teamwork skills.
