Descrição We are looking for an experienced Automation Manager to join our team of experts. You will provide direct expertise and management of the realization of automated end-to-end warehousing solutions. Your leadership and expertise will play a vital role in the delivery of our Customer and Operational excellence. Does this sound like a challenge for you? Then keep on reading! Responsabilidades - You will be involved in pre-conceptual design and conceptual design of automated solutions; - You will be responsible to steer the vendor selection process by giving final approval or sharing showstoppers; - Together with the procurement team you’ll have an active role in drawing up supplier contracts, with a focus on technical solution specification, output and throughput, KPIs, acceptance criteria and tests. You use your experience to challenge the vendor milestone planning; - As automation lead you will ensure that the concept design is translated in a viable implementable detailed design. - You will follow up from installation to PLC testing/commissioning (interface if needed) and after care; - You will be coordinating and participating in Factory Acceptance testing, System Integration test, User Acceptance test and DILO relative to the project; - You ensure automation projects are successfully implemented, ensuring correct knowledge ownership in the running operations; ensuring the vendor delivers according to contractual expectations. - You will increase the standardization of automation solutions to increase speed in answering to customer needs/requirements. Requisitos - You have passion for automation and material handling systems, working with high safety standards. - BSc degree mechatronics / electromechanical Engineering, and/or practical experience in the field of automation controls or software engineering. You have a solid understanding of information systems and engineering theory; - 10+ years’ experience designing & implementing automated warehouses involving conveyors, ASRS, G2P, sorting systems; - Your excellent knowledge of the landscape and possibilities of automation suppliers; - You are fluent in English.
