We are currently strengthening the team of one of our clients with the following profile: AWS Cloud Engineer – Hybrid (Lisbon) What we are looking for Hard skills • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field • Over 5 years of experience in AWS administration • Deep knowledge of AWS services, best practices, and optimization strategies • Strong understanding of web and network technologies including HTTP, SSL, DNS, and Application Load Balancer • Hands-on experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and GitLab • Proficient in storage management and user provisioning • Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code platforms such as CloudFormation and Terraform • Proven experience enforcing security best practices, managing IAM roles, configuring firewalls, and ensuring compliance with standards like SOC 2 • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment • Excellent communication and documentation skills • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Experience defining and implementing AWS network resources including VPCs, subnets, and route tables • Familiarity with high-availability AWS design patterns, including Application Load Balancers, API Gateways, and Auto Scaling Groups • Experience supporting network infrastructure tools such as VPNs, threat management systems, and vulnerability assessment tools • Skilled in applying optimization and cost-saving techniques for AWS storage services including EBS, S3, EFS, and Glacier • Experience working with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda • Up-to-date knowledge of information security frameworks and implementation of technical controls aligned with security policies • Understanding of IT security best practices to ensure secure handling and storage of sensitive cloud data, including backup and recovery strategies • Experience with relational databases in RDS-managed environments • Experience working with NoSQL database systems like Amazon DynamoDB • Familiar with deployment strategies such as blue/green, canary, and rolling deployments • Ability to create scripts in Python • (Optional) AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Soft skills • Good communication • Team spirit • Proactivity • Time management What we have to offer • Careful onboarding and close support from day one. • Continuous feedback aligned with your professional goals. • An accessible and collaborative team ready to support each individual's journey. • A close-knit environment where idea sharing and personal development are valued. • Access to a network of partnerships offering exclusive discounts on health, wellness, travel, culture, gastronomy, leisure and much more. • Social events and initiatives that strengthen team spirit.
