Dellent is a consulting company focused in System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations. Here you will work in the development of high-tech systems integration services in areas such as digital transformation and network automation for different sectors of activity, but in particular for telecommunications. We are looking for an Backend Developer (Java) for a long term role in this hybrid project in Lisbon or Porto. As a part of your job, you will: - Java backend developments (Spring Boot); - Solution designs using AWS and microservices; - Frontend development activities, if required; - Delivering using agile practices, in sprints and in accordance with the Product Owner and team's backlog and sprint stories; - Deploying using DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.  What are we looking for? - Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development and proficiency in the latest editions of Java, including expertise in Spring Boot; - Strong knowledge of AWS, Microservices architecture, and design patterns; - Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes; - Experience in frontend technologies like React.js or Angular is a strong plus; - Experience in NodeJs and PostgreSQL database is a plus; - Solid grasp of security best practices related to APIs and data privacy; - Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and a commitment to driving Agile practices within the team; - Comfortable with DevOps practices involving configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, Gitflow, IaC, deployment patterns among others; - Proficiency in English (B2+) is a must; - Availability to work onsite 2 days per week, in Lisbon or Oporto. Personal traits - Ability to adapt to different contexts, teams, and Clients; - Teamwork skills but also a sense of autonomy; - Motivation for international projects and ok if travel is included; - Willingness to collaborate with other players; - Strong communication skills.
