In order to continue our rapid expansion, we are currently looking for an experienced Backend Developer (m/f) to join our team in Portugal (full remote). Your Role: • Play an active part in building and maintaining our hyperconnectivity platform for the supply chain industry. • Develop and maintain essential backend software written in Java and Kotlin. • Optimize the functionalities and performance of our applications by, amongst others, reviewing and fixing code created by other developers. • Use your expertise to find the best ways to implement new features. • Write, run and maintain unit and integration tests. • Participate in Scrum Sprints (2 weeks) and contribute to successful Planning-, Grooming- and Review-Meetings. Your Profile: • At least 3 years of Java development experience (we use Java 8 and Java 17) • Experience with Spring framework (e.g. Boot, Cloud, JPA and others). • Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g. Postgresql, MySQL). • Experience with Git as well as Gradle. • Strong team-player abilities. • Strong personal drive as well as the willingness to learn new technologies and techniques. • Fluent in written and spoken English. • Nice to have: Knowledge of Kotlin and Python as well as experience with microservices and AWS (S3, Fargate, Lambda).
