What you will be doing:  -Build a Digital Experience platform of the future! Serving not only the customer base across numerous markets with a content-rich, highly performant, and personalized experience but also the internal customer base with an intuitive and future-proof content editorial platform for all SEO, merchandising and marketing needs.  -Create and maintain state-of-the-art web applications -Follow and improve code quality standards -Perform technical assessment of mockups/wireframes and architectural designs/specifications to ensure the possibility of their implementation within a reasonable time -Create and review software feature design documents and provide the solution -Spread expertise about BE technologies within the team -Be proactive in communication with team members and stakeholders -Use industry best practices of development processes & tools, adopt and improve them -Problem solver, Solution creator and part of an Agile team that will be developing innovative solutions. What we are looking for:  -Practical knowledge in at least one BE [Node.js, Java/Spring, JavaScript] frameworks -Experience in building and maintaining APIs to core platform features -Flair for clean code, reusability, testability, and readability (SOLID, TDD, Design Patterns) -Familiarity with Microservices Architecture and AWS Cloud Architecture -Experience with Atlassian Stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) -Understanding of Agile principles -Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplined team where other team members have distinct but complementary skill sets -Demonstrate flexibility and capacity to adapt to different environments and project challenges -Good communications and influencing skills, with the ability to explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders -Fluent in written and spoken English -Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or similar. What will be a plus:    -Good understanding of the DevOps mindset and experience with CI/CD set-up -Understanding of Core, Performance, and Security in JavaScript -Knowledge in Typescript -Other cloud platforms (e.g., in Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure) -Knowledge of Lean principles -Capacity to influence team members through tech expertise and experience.
