We are currently strengthening the team of one of our clients with the following profile: Backend Software Engineer Java Microservice Cloud – Hybrid (Lisbon) What we are looking for Hard skills • You have a science degree, e.g. (business) computer science / engineering, mathematics, physics or comparable; • You are a team player, like to share your knowledge and are always looking for a good solution for the team, product and company; • You have gained first work experience in professional software development, ideally in the field of logistics; • Expertise in Java 17+, relevant frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot), and REST-based API design; • You are familiar with message streaming frameworks like Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS or others; • You have good knowledge in the area of databases (e.g. SQL, PostgreSQL); • You are familiar with modern CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Ansible; • Knowledge in the areas of Cloud, Amazon AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda); • You worked already with Docker Containers and Kubernetes; • Experience with working in an agile team; • Good English skills complete your profile.
