The Universal Kraft group has been actively developing renewable energy solutions for over 20 years. Our projects span from small hydro, wind, and solar to waste-to-energy, water treatment, and energy storage solutions, including green Hydrogen and green Ammonia. With offices in the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, and Sweden, we are continuously expanding, along with our team. Currently, we are currently recruiting for a Chemical Engineer (Gas) - IEFP Intern. PROFILE: Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Complex problem-solving skills. REQUIREMENTS: Portuguese Bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferable) in chemical, process, or industrial engineering, or an official equivalent. Experience in hydrogen and/or renewable energy sectors is highly valued. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities Hands-on experience with AutoCAD software is a plus. Experience in natural gas and/or electrolyser manufacturing is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills Fluent in English, (Knowledge of Spanish French & Portuguese is a plus) RESPONSIBILITIES: Sizing, specification, and selection of equipment (water treatment, electrolyser, gas compressor, H2 storage, heat exchangers, …etc.) Work closely with project development, sourcing, and other discipline engineers to create cost-efficient designs. Participate in the budget preparation of the full project. Preparing Process Flow Diagram (PFDs) and process description. Performing heat and mass balance, line sizing, and CO2 emission calculation.
