Key Responsibilities: Your role as Team Leader / Resident Engineer is to provide overall technical assistance for projects and related activities, from planning to implementation, monitoring, and maintenance. The main activities consist of:

• coordinating consulting firm personnel
• ensuring quality in engineering studies
• evaluating feasibility study results
• leading supervision of civil works, and
• capacity-building for client’s staff, including coaching, updating standard designs, assisting with policy implementation, advising on construction oversight, and facilitating exchange of information with other projects.

Perfil

• What we expect from you:
• M.Sc./B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 15 years of experience in infrastructure project management, including detailed design and supervision of civil works
• Experience in supervision of infrastructure civil works involving international contracts
• Good knowledge of international and regional regulations related to environment, communal services, and government procurement
• Good knowledge of relevant design norms and construction standards, including for small building construction
• Experience in developing countries on similar assignments
• Experience in client’s capacity building
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English (and in German as an addedal advantage)
• Integrity and cultural awareness
