We are currently looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect / Infrastructure Lead to join a challenging and high-impact international project. Role Overview Our client is looking for an experienced Global Infrastructure Architect & Engineering Lead to own and drive the Infrastructure domain across the organization. This role is the senior technical authority for IT Infrastructure, responsible for defining and evolving the global architecture across networking, systems, cloud and on-prem environments, with selected IT/OT integration (from Layer 3.5 and above). This position combines architecture ownership, hands-on engineering leadership, and delivery accountability. The successful candidate will design solutions, lead PoCs, select technologies and partners, and ensure successful implementation and deployment. Key Responsibilities • Cloud and hybrid platform architecture and engineering, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure • Define and own the end-to-end IT Infrastructure architecture (networking, systems, cloud and hybrid environments) • Architect and oversee: – Enterprise networking and secure connectivity (LAN/WAN, VPN, remote access) – On-prem infrastructure, virtualization, storage and core services – Active Directory / Entra ID, Domain Controllers, DNS and hybrid identity integration – Backup, recovery and disaster recovery solutions – IT/OT connectivity from Layer 3.5 and above • Act as Engineering Lead for Infrastructure initiatives, including PoCs and complex implementations • Lead technology evaluation, solution selection and partner engagement • Define deployment models and oversee project execution to ensure quality and architectural alignment • Work closely with IT Security, IT Operations, IT Solutions, OT teams and business stakeholders • Drive the translation of architectural designs into fully delivered solutions Technical Skills Strong hands-on and architectural experience in: • Enterprise networking and systems • Active Directory / Entra ID, Domain Controllers and DNS • Hybrid cloud architectures with Microsoft Azure • On-prem and virtualized environments • Secure remote access (VPN and hybrid connectivity) • Backup, recovery and disaster recovery solutions • Integration of IT and OT environments (Layer 3.5 and above) • Solid understanding of infrastructure security principles Certifications (Valued) • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) • Networking or infrastructure certifications (e.g. CCNP or equivalent) • Relevant vendor or architecture training Languages • Fluent Portuguese and English (mandatory) Location • Porto • Hybrid model What we offer • An innovative and growing company with strong opportunities for professional development • Compensation aligned with your experience and performance • Access to flexible benefits and private medical insurance • Unlimited access to technological training in free mode IRIUM is a company made of dynamic and proactive professionals.
