Dellent is a consulting company focused in System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations. We are looking for a Data Engineer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid) or Lisbon (Hybrid). Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field; - Between 6 and 9 years of professional experience; - Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Semarchy, Stambia, Talend, DataStage, or similar); - Ability to design and maintain data integration processes; - Proficient SQL skills; - Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake) and data modeling concepts; - Experience with VTOM or Virtual-M (or comparable job orchestration/workload automation tools); - Ability to schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs; - Knowledge of UNIX/Linux scripting (shell scripting, awk, sed, Python as a plus) for automation and data processing tasks; - Data engineering mindset: knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT patterns, data quality, data lineage, and metadata management; - Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities; - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; - French-speaking at least B2 level required; - Ability to collaborate with French-speaking stakeholders and teams; - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Desirable Qualifications: - Experience with cloud data platforms (GCP) and cloud-native ETL tools; - Familiarity with data governance, data cataloging, and security practices; - Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus; - Understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices for data pipelines.
