Design Engineer  Launchers Vehicle  Join this leading Swiss Space Technology Company making waves in the New Space sector! Operating in 6 countries, they are the international preferred supplier of structures for launch vehicles and a leader in satellite products. As the set up in the Portuguese market, they are seeking a dynamic Design Engineer. Responsabilities Assume design responsibility in various projects; Create draft concepts and concept studies according to specifications; Support design trade-off studies; Incorporate and develop advanced concepts, technologies and materials in collaboration with the technology group, manufacturing and Jigs&Tools design; Create of the technical documentation (assembly plan, single parts and assembly drawings, parts lists and specifications, test samples) utilizing CAD, SAP and PC applications; Lead and execute detailed designs (create fully elaborated assembly designs); Coordinate with other designers assigned to the project; Perception of self-control in the context of inputs, especially when submitting mandatory parts model data files; Carry out administrative tasks related to release and change management; Evaluate proposed changes, and establish change requests; Assess NCs and support the error handling process; Support of manufacturing, testing and Product Assurance. Requirements - Bachelors degree in Mechanical and/or Aerospace Engineering; - From 3 to more than 10 years of experience in desing engineering; - Experience in Aerospace and/or Aeronautical companies (required); - Advanced English (required) and other languages will be an advantage; - CAD experience and SAP is a plus; - Good communication and organization skill; - Pro-active team player; - Team-minded, dedicated and able to work under pressure.
