Build resilient, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure for a leading European digital bank working within a global technology consultancy on a long-term, high-impact project in financial services. - Remote in Portugal - Permanent contract directly with the consultancy We are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join an international engineering team responsible for designing, automating, and operating cloud infrastructure that supports critical banking platforms. Youll play a key role in driving DevOps best practices, infrastructure automation, and continuous delivery across a modern cloud-native environment. Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure AWS cloud infrastructure - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps - Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform - Automate operational workflows and deployment processes using Python and scripting - Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker - Monitor platform performance, reliability, availability, and cloud cost optimization - Implement security best practices and ensure compliance across cloud environments - Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues across Windows and Linux environments - Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies - Drive continuous improvements in deployment processes, automation, and platform resilience - Provide technical guidance and collaborate with distributed international teams What We Are Looking For - 10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or similar roles - Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud services - Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps - Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform - Strong containerization experience with Docker - Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices - Proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Nice to Have - Strong Python programming and automation skills - Experience with Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, or other container orchestration platforms - Experience with cloud monitoring, observability, and cost optimization solutions Whats in It for You - Permanent contract with a global technology consultancy - Long-term international project within the European banking sector - Fully remote role based in Portugal - Opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies and enterprise-scale platforms - Collaborative environment focused on innovation, automation, and continuous improvement Interested?
