Descrição We are recruiting a Finance & Business Controller for a large, International Logistic Company of which the heart of finance is located in Belgium, Antwerp. Your mission is to analyze both the gains against the losses and the balance sheet, as well as reporting for the various entities within your responsibility. The Controller should support Management with clear and objective comments on various day-to-day business matters and, in addition, provide both Management and Operations with guidance and monitoring with regard to business performance. The Controller will closely monitor any risks that could arise from outstanding items in the balance sheet and will ensure that Management is alerted to any adverse risk. Responsabilidades - Reviewing the SAP BP to head office, ensuring all deadlines are met, and providing detailed commentary on key events that occurred during the month - Analyzing the results of the company and discussing them with the management of the region concerned - Reviewing and improving processes related to estimating work in progress and gross profit - Being the single point of contact for the Group for the relevant entities in your portfolio - Analyze the results of the establishment and propose various initiatives to improve profitability - Ensuring that the departmental structure in SAP is up-to-date at all times - Follow up the evolution of the gross profit in terms of volumes/margins and a forecast make before the end of the month - Drafting the P&L budget based on the SAP BPC tools - Participate in the local management meetings - Ensuring compliance with the various financial processes locally, not only by the finance staff, but also by the operational staff - Preparing information for audits and visits of Group Controlling - Close contact with management in the region and provide additional support if necessary. Requisitos - Bachelor or Master in Finance, Economics or similar, with at least 2 to 4 years of proven experience in the field of controlling with solid experience in finance, business results, planning and analysis - Experience with audits is a plus - Good knowledge of Excel is essential, SAP knowledge is an advantage - Team player, excellent communication skills, a creative and problem-solving approach, the ability and willingness to work with tight deadlines, change management mindset (fast changing and growing company), ownership approach - Must be able to speak fluent English. English is the Group's business language. Other languages are a plus.
