The Universal Kraft group has been actively developing renewable energy solutions for over 20 years. Our projects span from small hydro, wind, and solar to waste-to-energy, water treatment, and energy storage solutions, including green Hydrogen and green Ammonia. With offices in Portugal, Spain, Canada, and Sweden, we are continuously expanding, along with our team. Currently, we are recruiting for a Financial Analyst. As a Financial Analyst, you will be key in analyzing financial data, evaluating investment opportunities, and providing actionable recommendations for our renewable energy projects. You will also be responsible for financial modelling, forecasting, and preparing financial reports. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to support decision-making, optimize financial performance, and mitigate risks. With your expertise in financial analysis and knowledge of the renewable energy industry, you will contribute to the company's success in achieving its goals and objectives. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in economics, business management, accounting, or a related field Minimum 4 years of experience as a Financial Analyst Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques and methodologies Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus Fluent in English (proficiency in Portuguese, French, Spanish also valued) RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks Prepare financial models and forecasts to support investment decisions and business planning Conduct investment analysis and due diligence for renewable energy projects Assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and other documents for internal and external stakeholders Support budgeting and cost analysis processes Evaluate and recommend strategies to optimize financial performance and achieve financial targets Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance financial systems and processes Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis projects as assigned WE OFFER: Competitive salary and benefits package according to experience.
