Opportunity Financial Controls & Data Analyst (m/f) Porto We are looking for a Financial Controls & Data Analyst to join a finance team responsible for monitoring Data Analytics and Thematic Controls, with a strong focus on the analysis, control, and integrity of accounting data within investment banking activities. Key Responsibilities Control & Analysis (LoD 1.2) Accounting reconciliation of on- and off-balance sheet positions Justification of discrepancies between IFRS results and local accounting standards Control of valuation of unrealized gains and losses Development and strengthening of second-line controls Data Analytics & Reporting Detailed data analysis (drill-down and data classification) Production of audit trails for reporting purposes Contribution to thematic control initiatives and risk frameworks Specific Projects Creation of new controls over strategic financial processes Expansion and enhancement of existing controls Participation in extending the scope to international entities Candidate Profile Degree in Accounting, Audit, Management, or a related field Mandatory experience in audit Strong knowledge of financial products (equities, bonds, derivatives, repos, etc.) Familiarity with IFRS standards Experience with tools Advanced Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot Power BI, Easymorph or other data visualization tools Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and control-oriented mindset Knowledge of Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) (preferred) Fluent English (mandatory) What We Offer Fixed-term employment contract (uncertain term) under an outsourcing regime, with an initial duration of 6 months and the possibility of extension Competitive salary based on experience Meal allowance of 8.60 per day Hybrid model with 8 mandatory office days per month (09001800)
