Descrição da Função

Full-Stack Developer -Sports Mobile App Location: Porto/Maia Hybrid (Office and Remote) Type: Full-Time What We're Building A "livescore on steroids"—a football platform featuring an AI Assistant that delivers real-time analytics and dynamic live commentary. The app features a virtual coin economy. It also includes a pre-live prediction game where users compete on leaderboards to earn coins. We are building this from the ground up. You will be joining an elite, highly experienced team with a deep track record of building successful sports applications. The Role: Your Day-to-Day This is a core architectural role. You will act as the technical bridge between our external data API team and the user experience: The Backend: You will build a Node.js and Express.js backend to consume data from our dedicated API team. You will orchestrate the data layers, handle the AI prediction logic, and securely manage the virtual coin economy and user wallets. The Mobile App: You will architect the React Native + Expo mobile application. While you will have dedicated support from other front-end developers to build out the UI, you will lead the mobile architecture to ensure it connects flawlessly to your backend. The Data Flow: You will work closely with the external API team to ensure the app receives the different layers of data smoothly and efficiently. Tech Stack Layer What You'll Touch Mobile React Native, Expo, NativeWind, Reanimated, Gesture Handler Backend Express.js, TypeScript, Node.js Databases MySQL (primary) + Firestore (real-time) DevOps & Cloud Firebase, Google Cloud Platform, EAS (Expo) What We're Looking For Must-Have TypeScript: Expert level. The entire codebase across backend and mobile will be TypeScript. React Native / Expo: Strong experience. You will set the foundation for the mobile app and collaborate with front-end developers. Node.js & Backend Architecture: Strong experience building robust backends, managing databases (MySQL), and setting up cloud infrastructure. API Integration & Design: Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and handling heavy data feeds from third-party partners. Nice-to-Have Experience building platforms from scratch. Experience building virtual currency economies or gaming loops. Football/soccer domain knowledge. Why This Role Is Different This isn't maintaining an existing codebase - it's building one from scratch. You'll have the opportunity to: Architect the system: Make the foundational decisions that shape both the backend and mobile platform.
