Adecco is recruiting for a prestigious Shared Service Center located in Maia, for a General Ledger Accounting Analyst (M/F) Key Responsibilities - Record and reconcile Record to Report accounting transactions in the ERP system; - Perform general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities; - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with IFR and Portuguese GAAP; - Support internal and external audits, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities; - Ensure compliance with Portuguese tax and accounting regulations - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate allocation of expenses and revenues; - Ensure and supervise the accounts reconciliation; - Contribute, in liaison with the Tax Department, to the timely preparation of tax returns; - Contribute to the Groups convergence projects (mergers, new accounting systems, etc.). Requirements - Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; holding the Contabilista Certificado title is a plus; - The candidate has a minimum of 5 years experience in accounting in a multinational environment or in an audit and/or accounting firm, preferably in the industrial field; - Up-to-date knowledge of Portuguese tax legislation; - Proficiency in accounting tools and ERP systems (preferably SAP); - Good command of English (spoken and written); - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities; - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines; - Proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
