We are looking for an Head of Industrial Operations that leads and manages all activities within the production department of Coloplast Manufacturing Portugal (CMPT). Ensures that the processes and products comply with all relevant regulations, standards, and requirements be they internal or external. Responsabilidades - Drive the establishment of a new manufacturing operation implementing all required processes working closely with relevant manufacturing sites and global functions; - Establish strong relations to and good collaboration with the site in Nyírbátor, Hungary where initial training will take place for operators, technicians, and specialists; - Lead and manage the production department comprising leaders, specialists, technicians, and operators responsible for execution of all manufacturing operations at CMPT; - Establish and ensure delivery on priorities, goals, and objectives to meet current and future product demand, compliance, and quality requirements; - Ensure a strong focus and prioritization of environmental, health and safety aspects throughout all activities of the department; - Ensure a strong focus on processes and continuous improvement working closely with relevant global and local functions; - Accountable for Quality Control in production working closely with the Quality department responsible for Quality Assurance; - Accountable for ramp-up of production; - Accountable for maintenance of production equipment; - Accountable for execution of production plans working closely with the Supply Chain department responsible for the plans and the delivery performance; - Ensure successful production transfers from other manufacturing sites; Requisitos - Relevant degree in Manufacturing or Engineering (B. Sc. or higher); - 5 + years of previous experience as a Head of Industrial Operations in manufacturing or as a Plant Manager, preferably experience in start-up and ramping up a manufacturing site; - Experience with continuous improvement and lean in a manufacturing setting; - Knowledge of the Portuguese labor market and Portuguese employment laws; - ERP and MES systems, Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); - High level proficiency in oral and written Portuguese and English; - Knowledge about ISO 9001.
