THE LAKHANI GROUP is looking to strengthen its team by recruiting an Interior Designer Intern We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Interior Designer Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in interior design and contribute to a variety of exciting projects. As an intern, you will work closely with our design team to support the conceptualization, development, and implementation of innovative design solutions for residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces. We are a hotel development and construction group based in Lisbon, specializing in the execution of highly complex hotel construction/refurbishment projects. Responsibilities: - Assist in gathering project requirements, conducting site visits, and collaborating with clients to understand their design preferences and needs. - Support the design team in creating concept boards, mood boards, and design presentations to communicate design ideas effectively. - Assist in space planning, furniture layout, and material selection to optimize functionality and aesthetics. - Contribute to the development of detailed design drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings. - Research and source furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories to meet project requirements and budget constraints. - Assist in coordinating with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and quality execution of design projects. - Support the design team in reviewing project specifications, drawings, and samples for accuracy and compliance with design intent. - Assist with administrative tasks, such as organizing design libraries, maintaining project files, and updating project schedules. Requirements: - Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in interior design, architecture, or a related field. - Strong design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics, color, and spatial arrangement. - Proficiency in design software. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and visual. - Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in design documentation. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements. - Proactive attitude with a passion for design and a willingness to learn and grow. - Previous internship or coursework in interior design, architecture, or related fields is a plus but not required. - Eligible for IEFP's ATIVAR internship Elevate your career in the hospitality sector with LAKHANI GROUP.
