Join Our Team as IT Field Support Specialist – Oerlikon Fine Parts | Cubimatéria – Fundão, Castelo Branco Are you ready to perform IT operations in a dynamic, innovative manufacturing environment? What You'll Do • Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. • Swiftly troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues • Execute installation, configuration, and upgrades of computer systems and software. • Assist end-users with IT-related problems and inquiries. • Ensure a positive customer experience through effective communication and timely problem resolution. • Collaborate with network administrators to guarantee uninterrupted connectivity. • Assist in the setup and maintenance of local area networks (LANs). • Maintain meticulous records of support activities, including resolutions and equipment inventory. • Document common issues and resolutions to facilitate knowledge sharing. • Execute routine hardware and software maintenance tasks. • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements. • Enforce and uphold IT security policies. • Ensure the currency of antivirus and security software. • Process incidents and service requests from the 1st Level Queue within the SLA definition. • Act as a single point of contact in the Virtual Service Desk, identifying, logging, categorizing, prioritizing, resolving, and escalating as necessary. • Identify problematic areas and implement effective solutions in accordance with defined service levels. • Contribute to and build a knowledge base in the ITSM tool. • Facilitate knowledge transfer within the entire 1st Level organization. • Participate in project activities related to the defined function scope. • Provide standard IT services needed by Operational Technology (OT) and offer troubleshooting assistance. • Establish strong alignment and cooperation with the Regional and Global Service Desk • Engage in hands-on activities for 2nd and 3rd Level support. What You Bring • A very good understanding for customer needs • Experience in IT-Support • Quick comprehension • Communication skills • Service orientation • Team player We also Value • Recent graduate (bachelor degree) in IT related fields; • Knowledge hardware maintenance • Assists in deployment projects • Ability to work and communicate with our end-users • Ability to interact with an international IT organization • Availability to travel to company sites within the designated area. • Availability for occasional evening or weekend support may be required. • Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities • Excellent collaboration, interpersonal and customer service skills • English (Level B2-C1) • Ability to work under pressure • Some understanding of IT processes • Good knowledge of MS Client operating systems • Knowledge of Cloud services (Microsoft, AWS) • Knowledge of Sage X3 or SAP environment is a plus • Knowledge in supporting operational IT requirements Why Join Us?
