Fox IT is a Portuguese consulting company that is for the 4th consecutive year, in the TOP of the 5% best SMEs in Portugal. Our Mission is to bring a new approach to the IT market, promoting a fairer exchange between us, our consultants and our customers. We are looking for a Java Backend developer to participate on a Telecommunications project for a Software house. Requirements: • Solid experience in Java backend development (at least 5 years of experience with Java and Gherkin) • Proficiency in Gherkin for writing clear and maintainable tests. • Familiarity with Jira and xRay for task management and testing purposes. • Experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration. • A QA mindset – attention to detail, commitment to delivering high-quality code, and proactive in identifying and fixing issues early. • Fluent in written and spoken English Nice to have: • Experience with Postman for testing backend APIs and scripting automated tests. • Knowledge of Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines. • Understanding of Scrum and Agile development methodologies. • Previous experience with AWS.
