Descrição We are looking for a Junior Automation & Controls Engineer to join a fast-growing company in the automation sector, expanding into new international markets.This role offers a great opportunity to work on innovative automation projects, with professional growth and exposure to international clients. Responsabilidades - To develop and program control systems (PLC and HMI); - To prepare technical documentation, including functional descriptions and test plans; - To support commissioning, testing and problem-solving activities on site; - To ensure compliance with UK and client-specific standards and specifications; - To collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure system integration; - To participate in safety assessments and risk analysis processes; - To contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of the automation team; - To provide technical support to clients after installation. Requisitos - Degree in Engineering (BEng, BSc, MEng); - Academic or internship experience in automation, controls, or PLC programming; - Practical experience in commissioning or site-based automation work; - Fluency in English (spoken and written); - Knowledge of Siemens S7 TIA Portal and/or Rockwell systems; - Familiarity with safety systems, SCADA, HMI, and industrial networks; - Strong communication, documentation and teamwork skills; - A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow; - Availability to travel occasionally for project or training purposes.
