Job Description Reporting Line Operational reporting to Senior System Developer; administrative accountability according to departmental structure. Primary Responsibilities     The Junior Developer – 4D Database / 4D Server supports the maintenance, development, and optimization of the company's 4D-based system landscape. The role includes server administration, database development, and technical support for internal users and client systems. Specific Responsibilities    * Ensure stable operation of the 4D server environment * Perform maintenance, updates, troubleshooting, and performance optimization * Support further development of the 4D database (4D language, structures, forms, business logic) * Analyze system errors and implement sustainable fixes * Provide technical support (1st–2nd level) for internal users and clients, including troubleshooting and training * Contribute to new modules, automation processes, APIs, and integration projects * Create and maintain technical documentation * Collaborate with business units to implement functional requirements * Ensure compliance with internal IT, security, and quality standards   Qualifications Profile * Completed technical training or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent * Experience with the 4D database environment or strong willingness to learn * Basic understanding of database concepts and programming logic * Strong interest in development, debugging, and continuous system improvement * Structured, reliable work style with high sense of responsibility * Strong communication skills and enjoyment in supporting users Required Skills * Good programming knowledge (e.g., 4D, SQL, JavaScript or similar) * Understanding of client/server architectures * Analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities * Strong attention to detail and quality awareness * Ability to communicate technical topics clearly * Good English communication skills
