Machine Operator (Weekend Shift) Company Overview: We are a leading plastic recycling company in the Netherlands, processing plastic waste for numerous European companies. As part of our expansion and internationalization efforts, we are focusing on our new production line, Line 5, which processes plastics from agriculture. The company is one of the top three recycling firms in the Netherlands and has recently been acquired by a major European company. Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year experience as a machine operator or in a similar role involving large machines Experience with production lines or in environments like industry, plastic processing, or recycling Technical background with the ability to perform maintenance on machines Language Requirements: English B1 Romanian (very important due to the Romanian team) Must-Haves: Experience operating large machines Experience with big production lines or similar environments Technical skills for machine maintenance Good attitude and communication skills for team collaboration Willingness to obtain a forklift certificate if not already certified Nice to Have: Forklift truck certificate Experience in the plastic or recycling industry Daily Responsibilities: Control and monitor the new production line (Line 5) Sort plastics manually and operate related machinery Learn to operate and possibly drive a forklift truck Recognize and address issues in the production line Work Environment: Inside and around the production facility The work involves dealing with plastic waste from agriculture, which may have a strong odor. Work Schedule: 40 hours per week Day & night shifts: 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00, and 22:00 - 06:00 Transition to a 4-shift system (2 days, 2 afternoons, 2 nights, 2 days off) Overtime possible, ranging from 40-50 hours Overtime allowances: 115% for shifts, 120% for overtime Driver's License: Yes, very important VCA Certification: Not required Age Preference: Maximum age of 45 due to the physical demands of the job Start Date: As soon as possible Specific Tools or Clothing: Bring your own safety shoes and some work clothing for the first few weeks Salary: Net €400 per week
