Descrição We are seeking a Ops Cyber Consultant to join a world-class team within a Global Engineering Center of Excellence (TEE). This role is based in Portugal, but focuses on strategic international projects. It requires availability for frequent short-term travel to global locations such as Saudi Arabia, Germany, Switzerland, Angola, and Spain, among others. Responsabilidades - To review security incidents escalated by analysts and perform deep-dive assessments using advanced threat intelligence; - To document standard operating procedures, including detailed playbooks and runbooks; - To identify potential security threats and determine the most effective mitigation measures; - To develop use cases, correlation rules, and alerts to enhance threat detection and response; - To meet with clients to discuss security posture, provide strategic insights, and suggest system improvements; - To stay updated on the latest security tools, trends, and emerging technologies; - To train security analysts to recognize, defend against, and respond to breaches and risks. Requisitos - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of experience in similar cybersecurity roles; - Experience with infrastructure automation through scripting (Python, Shell, or similar); - Proven experience with SIEM technologies and security assessment tools; - Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory for this international environment; - Solid knowledge of network protocols, Linux/Windows infrastructures, and security architecture concepts; - The ability to exercise independent judgment, discretion, and rigorous risk analysis; - Willingness and full availability to travel internationally on short notice.
