We're Hiring | Payroll Analyst (Payroll Accountant / Payroll & Accounting Specialist) Lisbon, Portugal Are you a payroll professional with a strong accounting background looking for your next challenge? We're seeking a Payroll Analyst to join a dynamic and international environment, supporting payroll operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellence across payroll and accounting activities. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who enjoy working with payroll data, reconciliations, reporting, and stakeholder management in a fast-paced environment. What you'll do Process payroll activities for assigned regions, including reviewing payroll data to support accurate and timely payroll processing. Review payroll records for accuracy and assist with resolving discrepancies related to payroll calculations, tax withholdings, benefits, and payroll deductions in accordance with established processes and applicable regulations. Prepare payroll headcount reconciliations and support payroll reporting activities. Prepare payroll-related journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analyses. Process stock compensation transaction information to support payroll tax reporting requirements. Respond to payroll-related inquiries and coordinate with designated internal contacts and external payroll service providers to facilitate issue resolution. Assist with payroll audits by preparing documentation and supporting audit requests. What we're looking for Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field 3 to 6 years of experience in Payroll, Payroll Accounting, or Payroll Operations Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organisational and time management abilities Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Advanced English Preferred profile Results-oriented professional with high ethical standards and attention to detail Team player capable of building strong working relationships Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a dynamic environment What we offer Competitive salary package between 2,200 and 2,700 gross/month (depending on experience and qualifications) Fixed-term contract in outsourcing regime Hybrid/on-site opportunity in Lisbon, Portugal Opportunity to join a growing and collaborative international team Career development and exposure to global payroll processes Interested or know someone who could be a great fit?
