Our Operations & Services Area is looking for a PMO Specialist who will have the following responsibilities: The role of the Project Management Office (PMO) is to develop, establish and sustain project management strategy, capability, and culture, and to increase its effectiveness over time. The PMO strives to standardize and introduce economies of repetition in the execution of projects. PMO activities fall into three main categories: * Implementing processes and tools. * Supporting, with a consulting role. * Controlling, by requiring compliance. The PMO Specialist will support many different tasks during the project’s lifecycle, with emphasis to the project execution phase – Project Kick-off, Project Charters, Project Reviews and periodic reports, Project Schedules, Project Closure, Handovers, etc. The main tasks of this position are: * Ensuring that projects adhere to organizational standards, policies, and procedures. This involves establishing frameworks for project initiation, execution, monitoring, and closure. * Enhancing project management methodologies and best practices to suit Voltalia’s specific requirements. This includes creating templates, guidelines, and tools to support project managers. * Tracking project metrics to evaluate progress, identify issues, and communicate status to stakeholders. * Improve awareness of PMO tools supporting O&S BL’s. * Maintain and promote the business line knowledge databases – Return of Experience and Lesson Learned. * Throughout all these activities, PMOs are active in training, mentoring, and coaching operational staff. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have/ be: * Degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences or Business Management. * At least 5 years’ experience in similar position. * Proficiency in English (mandatory). * Knowledge of project management tools and techniques. PMBOK knowledge and/or training (good to have). * Excellent computer skills. * MS Project good working knowledge. Soft Skills: * Good organization and prioritization skills. * Clear and effective communication. * Creative and flexible. * Availability and sense of responsibility. * Good teamwork skills.
