Descrição da Função

Profile: - Proven experience managing PostgreSQL in production environments at DBA level; - Strong experience with PostgreSQL performance tuning, backup/restore, replication, and HA/DR strategies; - Hands-on experience with OpenShift in operational environments; - Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native architecture patterns; - Strong experience with Ansible, including playbook creation and maintenance; - Knowledge of Kubernetes security practices, including RBAC, secrets management, encryption, and network policies; - Experience with CI/CD practices and infrastructure automation; - Experience monitoring and troubleshooting database and cluster performance; - Familiarity with multi-database environments, including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or Redshift; - Experience working in on-call or shift-based operational models; - Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders; - Proficiency in English. Responsibilities: - Deploy, manage, and optimize PostgreSQL workloads running on OpenShift; - Design and maintain backup/restore pipelines, replication processes, and HA/DR strategies; - Support migration activities to new OpenShift infrastructures; - Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and Infrastructure as Code practices; - Monitor and troubleshoot database and cluster performance issues; - Enforce Kubernetes and database security standards; Participate in on-call rotations and Saturday maintenance windows; - Collaborate with DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Development teams; - Support additional database technologies during operational coverage when required.
