We are looking for a Quality Engineer (Tester) to work in Coimbra, Braga, Porto or Lisbon (Hybrid). Responsibilities: - Ensuring software quality through the design, development, and execution of automated test and manual tests; - Validating functional and non-functional requirements; - Improving test efficiency; - Enabling continuous quality across the delivery lifecycle; - Collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to design robust test frameworks, identify defects early, and ensure scalable, reliable, and high-performing applications; - Performance testing activities (mandatory) and contributes to AI-driven testing approaches to optimize test coverage and efficiency. Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant area; - At least 5 years of relevant experience; - ISTQB Certification or similar; - Ability to design performance tests based on NFRs (e.g., load, stress); - Execution and analysis of performance test results, including bottleneck identification; - Experience using AI-driven testing techniques (e.g., test case generation, optimization, defect prediction); - Familiarity with AI-assisted tools to improve test efficiency and coverage; - Test case creation & execution (manual testing); - Test automation design, development, and execution; - Experience with automation frameworks (UI - Selenium, API - Newman); - Functional, regression, and exploratory testing; - Defect management and reporting; - Requirements analysis and traceability; - Test documentation and reporting; - Penetration testing concepts (Nice to have).
