Video Remote Medical Interpreter (VRI) | Work from Home | Portugal-Based Are you a skilled interpreter passionate about making a real impact in people’s lives? Join our growing team of Video Remote Medical Interpreters (VRI) and help bridge communication between patients and healthcare providers, right from the comfort of your home. As a VRI Interpreter, you will: Provide accurate, real-time interpretation between English and your target language via video calls Support communication in medical settings such as clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and insurance calls Ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare privacy standards Deliver a professional, empathetic, and culturally sensitive experience to all parties involved Languages Needed: We are currently hiring interpreters fluent in English + one of the following languages: Arabic Haitian Creole Mandarin Cantonese Vietnamese Korean Brazilian Portuguese Requirements: Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher) Fluency in at least one of the languages listed above Minimum 1 year of proven experience as a Medical Interpreter (required) Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare interactions Must be physically located in Portugal Private, quiet workspace compliant with HIPAA privacy standards Reliable high-speed wired internet connection Comfortable working under a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) setup If you meet the requirements and are ready to take your interpreting career to the next level, we’d love to hear from you!
