Kelly Services is recruiting a Sales and Marketing Assistant Manager for our Iberia portfolio (focusing on the northern ports), the position will be based in Oporto (Leixões, Portugal). Requirements: * Reporting to the Regional Sales and Logistic Senior Manager, the Sales Assistant Manager will follow the commercial performance, development and improvement in the shipping market, network to the local key account customers as well as business cargo owners. Will perform sales activities and develop commercial synergies with HQ, Business Units and Regional Office, take an active role as a contact person for the sales function between Key accounts, HQ and region, follow the budget for the terminal and provide volume and revenue estimations in a timely manner. * Provide positive leadership and energy in support goal to be a Top 10 Global Operator by 2030. * Work under the direction of the Regional Sales and Logistic Senior Manager to establish and implement key organizational goals, budgets, policies and KPIs for the respective functional areas. * Take a leading role in providing excellent customer service to the customers, especially to shipping lines, agencies and business cargo owners. * Follow closely the market trends, updates and share with the sales organization. Work when needed (or required) on trade lane analysis, competitive status and micro economical trends related to the growth drivers and prepare studies-reports, share within the company. * Support to provide terminals volume and revenue estimation for budget revenue and volume part * Support on following up the service contracts and set annual workshops to define coming year strategy on tariffs and customer on a terminal base. * Identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organization and build relationship. Enhance existing customer relationships, analyze their demands and needs in an appropriate way to benefit the organization. * Integrate logistic solutions to terminal services and extend the hinterland of the terminal and develop trade routes through the terminal. * Improve service channels to increase the total benefits and produce solutions by coordinating with related department heads. * Work close with the sales organization and find out synergies and multi-regional/terminal customers. Qualifications: * A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Marine, Logistics or similar areas; * 10 years' professional experience in freight forwarding and/or shipping agency (preferred); * Business Development and client management experience would be a distinct advantage; * Leadership, customer orientation, influencing, facilitation, communication, process improvement mindset, stakeholder management, problem solving and negotiation skills are highly desirable; * Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities; able to work comfortably in ambiguity and with sense of urgency; * Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish and English is required.
