Description: Responsibilities - Development tasks in subscription and billing management (Revenue cloud). - Salesforce Developer with experience in Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (Community Portals), and external system integrations. - Responsible for requirement gathering, solution design, implementation, deployments, and configurations (objects, fields, validation rules, flows, reports). Years of experience - 5+ years of proven experience as a Salesforce Developer. Functional Skills - Core Salesforce Knowledge. - Salesforce Platform Fundamentals: Objects, fields, relationships, security model, workflows, and automation. - Apex and Lightning Components: Ability to customize and extend functionality using Apex classes, triggers, and LWC. - Data Modeling & Integration: Understanding of data architecture and integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs). - Subscription & Billing Functional Expertise. - Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing). - Product Catalog Management: Setting up subscription products, bundles, and pricing models. - Quote-to-Cash Process: Deep understanding of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and its integration with Billing. - Subscription Lifecycle Management: Handling renewals, amendments, cancellations, and upgrades. - Usage-Based Billing: Managing metered services and usage records. - Invoice & Payment Processing: Generating invoices, applying taxes, and managing payment schedules. - Revenue Recognition Rules. - ERP Integration: Knowledge of connecting Salesforce Billing with ERP systems. - Payment integration: Stripe. Technical Skills - Programming Languages: Apex (Salesforce proprietary language for backend logic), JavaScript (for Lightning Web Components and UI customization), SOQL & SOSL (Salesforce Object and Search Query Languages), HTML/CSS (for UI styling in Lightning components). - Frameworks & Tools: Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce CPQ & Billing (Revenue Cloud), Salesforce Flow and Process Builder (automation tools) - Salesforce APIs: REST API, SOAP API, Bulk API - Integration Middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) - Version Control (Git, Usage of DevOps Pipelines) - CI/CD Tools - Data & Integration - ETL Tools (e.g. Talend) - ERP Integration (SAP) - Payment Gateway Integration (Stripe). Soft Skills - Analytical Thinking o Ability to understand complex subscription and billing processes and translate them into technical solutions. o Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting integration and configuration issues. - Communication Skills o Clear and concise communication with business stakeholders, and technical peers. o Ability to explain technical concepts in business-friendly language. - Collaboration & Teamwork o Working effectively with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, IT, ERP teams) and cross regional teams (Europe, India, US). o Coordinating with external vendors. - Adaptability o Ability to quickly learn new Salesforce features and adapt to evolving subscription models. o Flexibility to handle changing business priorities and timelines. - Time Management o Managing multiple tasks and deadlines in complex projects like Revenue Cloud implementations. o Prioritizing critical deliverables under tight schedules. - Customer-Centric Mindset o Understanding the impact of subscription and billing processes on customer experience. o Designing solutions that improve efficiency and reduce friction for end-users. - Negotiation & Stakeholder Management o Handling discussions on requirements, timelines, and dependencies. o Aligning technical feasibility with business expectations. Languages - Fluency in English (mandatory) Desired Certifications - Salesforce Platform Developer I & II - Salesforce CPQ Specialist - Salesforce Billing Specialist Fluency in English (mandatory)/ Portuguese (Nice to have) Sector: Automotive Tech Location: Porto Work model: Hybrid (2x/week in the office)
