Triangle Talent Portugal is recruiting a Senior Database Administrator (SQL) (M/F/D), for a client company in Lisboa, operating under a hybrid work model. Functions: • Manage the day-to-day operation and administration of database platforms; • Monitor database performance and implement performance tuning and optimization initiatives; • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve database incidents and problems; • Identify opportunities to improve database performance, availability, and efficiency; • Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize queries, data models, and application interactions with databases; • Support database monitoring, maintenance, and capacity management activities; • Contribute to the implementation of database administration best practices. Profile: • Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) in production environments; • Strong knowledge of SQL; • Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Database Hyperscale; • Knowledge of the vCore Database Model; • Experience with database monitoring and performance analysis tools, preferably Redgate SQL Monitor; • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail; • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams; • Fluent Portuguese and English (mandatory); • Experience optimizing high-volume database environments is considered an advantage; • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services is a plus; • Experience with database monitoring and automation practices is an advantage; • Immediate availability will be valued.
