DECISION is looking for Senior DevOps Platform Engineers with AZURE. Required Skills: Strong understanding of cloud computing and Azure services: A DevOps Platform Engineer should have in-depth knowledge of cloud computing principles and be proficient in using various Azure services, such as Azure Compute, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking. Familiarity with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure CLI is also essential for managing resources and automating tasks. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management: Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates is crucial for automating the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure. Additionally, knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef can help maintain consistent configurations across environments. Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): A DevOps Platform Engineer should be skilled in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. This includes integrating code repositories, automated testing, and deployment processes to streamline the software delivery lifecycle. Containerization and orchestration: Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is important for creating, deploying, and managing containerized applications at scale. Monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting: A DevOps Platform Engineer should be proficient in monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to ensure optimal application performance and troubleshoot issues. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze logs, metrics, and traces are vital for identifying and resolving issues in complex systems.
