We are currently strengthening the team of one of our clients with the following profile: Senior Embeeded System Engineer – Hybrid (Lisbon, Coimbra or Porto) What we are looking for Hard skills • 5+ years of professional experience in senior-level electronic design and embedded systems development • Expert-level proficiency in C and Assembly for bare-metal embedded applications. You must be comfortable working without an RTOS • Extensive hands-on experience with 16/32-bit microcontrollers. Direct experience with the STMicroelectronics ST10 family (like the ST10F269) and the Infineon XC2000 family (like the XC228xH) is highly preferred • Proven ability to analyse and troubleshoot analog and mixed-signal circuits, including signal conditioning for ADCs, filtering, and sensor interfaces • Strong understanding of digital logic, bus interfacing (specifically PC104) , and memory interfaces (SRAM, Flash) • In-depth, practical knowledge of implementing and debugging communication interfaces, particularly CAN and RS232, at both the firmware and hardware levels • Proficiency in schematic capture and experience reviewing complex, multi-layer PCB layouts • Background in the transportation, industrial, or power electronics industries is a plus • Deep knowledge of power supply design, specifically switched-mode power supplies (SMPS) is a plus • Fluency in English Soft skills • Good communication • Team spirit • Proactivity • Time management What we have to offer • Careful onboarding and close support from day one • Continuous feedback aligned with your professional goals • An accessible and collaborative team ready to support each individual's journey • A close-knit environment where idea sharing and personal development are valued • Access to a network of partnerships offering exclusive discounts on health, wellness, travel, culture, gastronomy, leisure and much more • Social events and initiatives that strengthen team spirit
