Descrição da Função

Profile: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field; - Minimum of 8 years of experience in Embedded Software Development, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership or Team Lead role; - Proven experience with Brushless DC (BLDC) motor control and Field Oriented Control (FOC) algorithms; - Strong background in Model-Based Design (MBD) using MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools; - Experience with Bare Metal development and migration to Safety RTOS and AUTOSAR; - Proficiency in C/C++ and Embedded Software Development; - Experience implementing automated testing environments in Linux; - Knowledge of functional safety standards, particularly ISO 26262; - Experience with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, CANopen, EtherCAT, J1939, UDS and EtherNet/IP; - Experience with Embedded development tools such as IAR, Code Composer Studio, Visual Studio or similar IDEs; - Knowledge of UML and software architecture design documentation; - Experience with ARM-based microcontrollers, preferably STM and Infineon; - Familiarity with industry standards and best practices, including ASPICE, ISO 13849 and ISO 21434; - Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban; - Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills; - Ability to work effectively in international and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: - Lead a team of Embedded Software Engineers developing BLDC motor control solutions; - Develop and optimize motor control algorithms using Field Oriented Control (FOC); - Drive Model-Based Design (MBD) and simulation activities to improve software performance and reliability; - Lead the transition from Bare Metal platforms to Safety RTOS and AUTOSAR; - Design and implement an automated testing framework in a Linux environment; - Ensure compliance with functional safety standards and Embedded Software development best practices; - Collaborate closely with Hardware Engineers, System Architects and cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle; - Support the development of new products, customer-specific solutions and continuous improvement initiatives; - Ensure high-quality software delivery through technical leadership, code quality and engineering best practices; - Troubleshoot and resolve complex firmware and Embedded Software issues; - Mentor and support the development of the software engineering team, fostering technical excellence and - knowledge sharing.
