Functions: • Application development of both backend and front-end features • API development • Develop technical specifications from functional requirements • Bridge FE and BE team gap looking for smooth integration of functionality • Quality assurance including unit testing and integration testing Technologies/Skills: Java– Essential at least 5 years of previous experience with Java / SrpingBoot projects Valuable • Having worked developing RESTful/SOAP API, knowledge of reading, writing, and manipulating data files JSON, XML, XSD, XSL-T, Schematron etc. • ORM management libraries like Hibernate, Spring JPA • Experience with third-party application integration. • Valuable: Knowledge of the following libraries or standards: JDBC,JOOQ, JSR 315: Java Servlet 3.0 Specification, Log4j2, Saxon. Databases: Essential knowledge of the SQL language and experience in data modelling • Data modelling • PostgreSQL / Oracle / sqldeveloper tool. • Query optimisation DevOps: not essential, but valuable • Tomcat: basic configuration instructions • Apache Maven: commands to build • Docker: Basic knowledge of the tool is essential to be able to carry out the elementary tasks of starting up containers, accessing through the shell and reading logs. • LINUX: basic knowledge of the use of the linux command line • Git: basic commands for managing releases. • continuous integration techniques Knowledge of agile methodologies preferable in SCRUM framework.
