Job Title: Senior Java Developer Location: Sintra, Lisbon, Portugal Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid Overview / Summary: We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our company! Responsibilities and Tasks: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications; Write efficient, reusable, and testable code following industry best practices; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features; Integrate Java applications with relational databases; Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for performance; Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement; Identify and resolve technical issues during development and deployment; Write and maintain technical documentation.

Perfil

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Java development;
• Proficient in object-oriented programming and design patterns;
• Hands-on experience with Spring / Spring Boot frameworks;
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration;
• Familiarity with tools such as Maven/Gradle, Git, and JIRA;
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills;
• Good communication and teamwork skills;
• Fluent English.
• Experience with Oracle databases.
