What will you do? - Design, build, and operate highly available MariaDB clusters, ensuring stability, scalability, and security of the database platform. - Develop and maintain robust backup, recovery, replication, and high-availability strategies for critical real-time systems. - Analyze and optimize SQL queries, database performance, and system scalability. - Automate database and infrastructure operations using tools such as Ansible or Terraform. - Support development teams with database architecture, data modeling, and integration topics. - Implement and improve database security, compliance, and encryption standards. What are we looking for? At Aubay, our focus is on professionals who bring both technical expertise and the right mindset: - Minimum of 5 years of experience administering MariaDB in highly available production environments. - Strong expertise in SQL, query optimization, and database performance tuning. - Experience with at least one additional relational database system, ideally PostgreSQL. - Good scripting and automation skills using languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation of operational processes.- - Solid understanding of IT security, compliance, and high-availability concepts. - Fluency in English is mandatory. - Alignment with our corporate culture and a commitment to integrity and ethics are highly valued; - Strong customer focus, teamwork, task prioritisation, and daily commitment are highly appreciated.
